Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has acquired a controlling stake in Sydney-based Goodness Group Global, marking its entry into the Australian consumer goods market and further strengthening its international footprint.

The acquisition expands RCPL’s presence beyond its existing overseas operations in markets such as the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Nepal and Sri Lanka, adding Australia as a key new geography in its global expansion strategy.

Focus on Health-Oriented Beverage Brands

As part of the transaction, RCPL gains control of Goodness Group’s portfolio of beverage brands, which are positioned around health, wellness and low-calorie consumption.

The portfolio includes Nexba, a gut-health drink sweetened with plant-based, zero-calorie alternatives, as well as PACE, a hydration beverage co-created with Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins. Other offerings include BISON, a protein-enriched drink, and GOOD BREKKIE, a liquid breakfast solution designed for on-the-go consumers.

Global Reach and Product Positioning

Goodness Group currently markets its products across Australia and more than 20 international markets. The company focuses on plant-based and low-calorie beverages, catering to growing consumer demand for healthier drink options.

Its flagship brand, Nexba, is powered by a proprietary natural sweetener known as Goodsweet, which differentiates it in the functional beverage segment.

Expansion and Distribution Strategy

Following the acquisition, RCPL plans to scale the Goodness Group brands into additional markets, including India. The company intends to leverage its established distribution network to accelerate market penetration and brand visibility.

The deal further strengthens RCPL’s beverage portfolio, which already includes brands such as RasKik fruit juices, Sun Crush drinks, Shunya herbal beverages and zero-sugar carbonated offerings.

Reliance Consumer Products Limited has acquired a majority stake in Australia’s Goodness Group Global, entering the Australian consumer market and expanding its global presence. The deal adds a range of health-focused beverage brands to RCPL’s portfolio, with plans to introduce these products into new markets, including India, using its existing distribution network.
