In Jamnagar, Reliance is developing multi-gigawatt solar power projects with integrated storage systems to provide round-the-clock renewable energy. The region, historically associated with oil refining and petrochemicals, is being transformed into a hub for green energy production and related technologies.
Reliance is also establishing an AI-ready data centre in Jamnagar, intended to support large-scale artificial intelligence applications. Alongside this, the company plans to launch an AI platform offering services in Indian languages, accessible via personal devices to enhance digital inclusion.
On the social infrastructure front, the Reliance Foundation will collaborate with the Gujarat government to manage the Veer Savarkar Multi-Sports Complex in Naranpura, facilitating sports training and events, and aligning with preparations for a potential 2036 Olympics bid for Ahmedabad.
